In May 2022, the world’s largest cruise ship, the “Wonder of the Seas” of the Royal Caribbean shipping company, will set sail.
Until then the “Wonder of the Seas” is still docked in Saint-Nazaire, France, at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, where construction work is still underway.
Just recently some technicians from aquagroup AG were on board to install and commission their proven chlorine electrolysis systems. The four installed eCON Maritim, specially adapted to the requirements of the cruise giant, will later ensure reliable disinfection of drinking water as well as the numerous pools and Jacuzzis.
With a length of 362 meters and a width of 64 meters, the “Wonder of the Seas” will accommodate up to 6,988 guests. Her home port will be in Shanghai.
Since 2013, aquagroup AG has been equipping numerous cruise ships with its devices and skits. 30 ships from the cruise industry already rely on their electrolysis generators.
Do as the world’s largest shipping companies do: rely on the quality of the aquagroup systems.
The aquagroup generators (on the left an mCON Compact) produce NADES 2.0 from water, salt and electricity at the point of consumption, i.e. at your site. NADES 2.0 is a 0.5% sodium hypochlorite (active chlorine) solution, an effective disinfectant.
