INDIVIDUAL WATER SOFTENERS

In cases where a constant soft water supply is not essential, individual water softeners are used. Optionally, downstream devices can be switched off using potential-free changeover contacts. Individual water softeners can come equipped with a regeneration-triggering function based on water quantity or opt for time-controlled regeneration.

ION EXCHANGE -BASED SOFTENING SYSTEMS

In the ion exchange procedure, water undergoes a process where it is filtered through resin for ion exchange. The ions responsible for hardness, primarily calcium and magnesium ions, are substituted with sodium ions. As soon as the capacity of the softener is exhausted, the ion exchange resin is regenerated using brine. The process is reversed, and the calcium and magnesium ions are replaced by sodium ions. These then enter the wastewater system with the rinsing water. Ion exchange-based water softening systems find application when the presence of hardness-causing elements hinders processes or cleaning activities.

INDIVIDUAL SOFTENERS WITH SEPARATE BRINE TANK

The separate brine tank allows the addition of larger amounts of regenerating salt at extended intervals.

DOUBLE SOFTENING SYSTEMS

Double softening systems (also known as pendulum or duplex systems) are used to ensure a continuous supply of soft water. The precise application in different areas is made possible by various control valves. Triplex systems are also available on customer request.

CABINET SOFTENERS

Cabinet-style water softeners take up very little space. They are extremely compact due to the direct placement of the pressure tank, which is filled with ion exchange resin, in the cabinet tank.

REVERSE OSMOSIS

Implementing reverse osmosis systems enhances water quality by effectively removing minerals such as sodium, sulfate, chlorine, sediment, and bacteria. This positively impacts the performance of your appliances.

FILTRATION AND IRON REMOVAL

The utilization of granular materials for filtration represents the oldest technical method in water treatment. Today, however, there is a much wider range of filter materials available that are meticulously designed to meet the specific requirements of diverse applications.

UV SYSTEMS

Scientific research has long recognized the impact of UV light on bacteria, viruses, spores, and molds. The high-energy short-wave ultraviolet radiation is lethal for microorganisms, as the UV rays penetrate the cell membranes and destroy the DNA in the cell. As a result, the organism is effectively eliminated and can no longer reproduce. (Three lamp types are available: low-pressure, low-pressure amalgam, and medium pressure.)
